Cedars Care Home is found in the suburb of Balby in Doncaster in a quiet residential area with easy access to transport links.
The Home has been designed with personalised care in mind and is therefore divided into two houses, Cedar House providing the highest level of residential care and Cedar Lodge which specialises in dementia care and has been designed with this in mind.
With tastefully decorated bedrooms and all with en-suite facilities. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with pictures, trinkets and ornaments.
Residents at The Cedars can relax and socialise in the TV lounges provided. There are also separate dining rooms, where residents can enjoy each others company whilst dining. Delicious meals re served with daily menu choices available. Special diets can be catered for.
Activities play a vital part in the day to day running of the home, and in addition to singers and entertainers being provided, the home also has various day to day activities provided by our own in-house activity coordinators.
The Cedars is proud to be awarded a “Good” rating by Doncaster Council.

Home Manager
Matthew Binns has been at The Cedars since 2015 and has worked in the adult social care sector for over 10 years, working his way up from Care Assistant to his current role as Home Manager. He prides himself on ensuring that his passion for care is present in every aspect of his work, and strives to provide residents with independence and choice at all times.
Matthew promotes the highest standards of person-centred care throughout The Cedars, and he feels privileged to look after the residents who live there.
Matthew has been awarded NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and he uses these skills to cascade current and relevant knowledge to his staff team.
Matthew enjoys all aspects of his role but none more so than spending time with the residents and making them happy.
He is keen to get to know residents family and friends and also the local community, so why not pop in for a cuppa and say hello?

How to find The Cedars
After exiting the A1 at exit 36, Take the A630 exit towns Doncaster town centre. Turn right on Wardle avenue. Then right again onto Cedar Road. The Cedars is located hallway down Cedar road.
