Residents “Get a Kick” Out of Donkey Visit

Donkey Ora captured hearts when he dropped into meet residents at Longwood Lodge.

Accompanied by his handlers, donkey travelled from the Donkey Sanctuary at Manchester.

All the residents got an opportunity to see and touch the donkey.

Evelyn Dickenson (Home Manager), said: “The donkey came round to the residents in the communal lounges. The Residents were smiling and most of them really enjoyed meeting and stroking the donkey, and asking questions of the Donkey Sanctuary staff.

Andrew Wood (Director) said “We enjoy bringing all different types of activities for our residents and this is one they have really enjoyed".
